We are an aggregator of flexibility
The flexibility of electricity generation and consumption can be found almost everywhere, through buildings, small-, medium- and large enterprises, heating power plants, all the way up to electricity producers. Cogeneration units, diesel generators, battery storage, freezers and other can also be a source of flexibility. At EIFlex, we will evaluate your existing energy sources and assets, integrate them into our portfolio through aggregation, and transform them into energy balance services for transmission system operators (ČEPS). This will allow you to send your surplus (flexibility) back to the grid and monetize it. We cannot provide you with cheaper electricity, but we can find business opportunities for you that will generate additional income from energy. We will help you earn by influencing your current electricity consumption and/or generation.
We purchase power from generation sources
We offer the purchase of all generated electricity from both non-renewable and renewable sources and place it on the market through ENERGY TRADING COMPANY. Depending on our customers’ wishes, we can take responsibility for the deviation in delivery to the grid. You can find almost all types of energy sources in our portfolio.

We invest in energy projects
The EIF Group's investment activities increased in 2022 to build BESS through separate SPVs in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The result of these activities is the commissioning of the largest battery storage facility in the Czech Republic with a total capacity of 7.44 MWh and 5 MW of capacity for providing ancillary services. In Slovakia, we have invested in a BESS with a certified FCR of 2 x 2 MW. We are also interested in other brownfield and greenfield acquisitions. We trade in electricity
Thanks to ETC, we also focus on the trading of electricity in the form of physical supplies and its financial derivatives in the countries of Western and Central Europe. With full membership in EEX (European Energy Exchange AG), we have access to the short- and long-term financial markets for electricity and the EUA. ETC has its own balance group in 6 regulatory areas, which fulfills the prerequisites for cross-border portfolio optimization.
